There are a lot of factors that can affect the amount of caffeine in your brew, however we’ve put together this little section to make sure that you can keep an eye on the amount of caffeine you’re consuming.

When it comes to measuring the amount of caffeine in your drink, its a bit of a tricky question. There are a lot of factors that can affect how caffeinated your brew will be, however, we’re aiming to clear up some of these issues for you.

With this in mind, we’ve made this table for you showing general figures for caffeine contents by tea type.

Infusions Caffeine free
White Tea 30-55 mg
Green Tea 35-70 mg
Oolong Tea 50-75 mg
Black Tea 60-90 mg
Coffee 150-200 mg

We do not use decaffeinated teas for a couple of reasons:

It’s not caffeine free.

Decaffeinated teas still contain trace amounts of caffeine in them (2-4 mg), meaning they’re not truly caffeine free. For those of you who want to avoid caffeine altogether, we would recommend our infusion teas.

It ruins the flavour.

The process for decaffeinating teas is hard on the tea leaves, and removes much of the natural flavour – meaning that the quality of the tea is seriously damaged.
