Easy Teasy are continuing to make a presence in their founding city, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Three graduates from Northumbria University started up their loose-leaf tea venture as part of an enterprise module during their final years of study.

After winning numerous competitions through Young Enterprise, the three business-minded individuals decided to take the leap and make Easy Teasy their endeavor, to nurture, grow and sail into the world of luxury brewing.

The three tea lovers are working long hours, whilst also holding down part-time jobs to fund their aspirational tea dream. Marketing Director, Luci Cowie said ‘things are moving pretty quickly at the moment, but that is all down to alot of hard work and the strong support network we have formed not only between ourselves but with other local businesses. I can’t believe how motivational and encouraging so many people have been to us, giving us some really mindful and insightful advice.’

This Christmas, the three graduates have delved into the creamy world of TEA INF– USED CHOCOLATE! Managing Director, Harry Marshall said ‘you cannot go wrong. Everyone loves tea, everyone loves chocolate, it’s a win win situation!’ They are launching the first range of tea infused chocolate; it’s created by blending the tea leaves very finely and then stirring them into luxury white, milk or dark chocolate. This new range of chocolate will be launched mid November in six different flavours, which replicate six of their most popular tea blends. Christmas Spice, Cloud Catcher, Orange Blossom Oolong, Summer Sencha, Earl Grey and Chai. All six chocolates have a unique flavour and there is something really quite unique and fresh about mixing the rich flavours of chocolate with the delicate notes of green, black and oolong tea.
